What is Vitamin D3?

Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin, is used as a precursor for calcium, phosphorus metabolic hormones,it has close relationship

with sunshine, so also called the “sunshine vitamin”.

Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble, insoluble in water, can dissolve in fat or fat solvents,high temperature and oxidation in neutral and

alkaline solution.

Vitamin D3 Powder, white or yellowish-white powder without odor, is obtained from the downstream processing of Vitamin D3 Crystal.

This product consists of Cholecalciferol coated with β-cyclodextrin. Content of cholecalciferol can be 100,000IU/g,

400,000IU/g,and 500,000IU/g, etc.

Function

1. Vitamin D3 has the function for rickets, osteomalacia and baby brothers tetany, rickets and dental caries prevention and

control of this product is also available. Larger doses for cutaneous tuberculosis, skin and mucous membrane also each lupus erythematosus (sle), etc.

2. D3 is mainly to promote intestinal absorption and sediment of calcium and phosphorus and sediment, for the treatment of diseases rickets and osteomalacia.

Application

1.About Vitamin D3 Crystal Pharma Grade

Vitamin D3 Crystal Pharma Grade, obtained from esterification, hydrolyzation and refining of high potency vitamin D3

resin,contains not less than 97.0 percent and not more than the equivalent of 103% percent of

(5Z,7E)-9,10-secocholesta-5,7,10(19)-trien-3β-ol.

Usage

Used in pharmaceutical formulations for vitamin D remedy or in milk, dairy, etc. as vitamin D supplement to promote absorption of

calcium and phosphorus.

2.Vitamin D3 Oil Food Grade

Vitamin D3 Oil Food Grade is obtained from vitamin D3 crystal dissolved in corn oil. The content of vitamin D3

(cholecalciferol)can be 1,000,000IU/g to 40,000,000IU/g, made according to customers’ requirement.

Content: 1,000,000IU/g min. to 40,000,000IU/g min

Appearance: Clear yellow liquid

Acid value: 2.0 max.

Peroxide value: 20 max.

Assay (C27H44O): 90.0%-110.0% of the declared assay

Usage

Vitamin D3 Oil Food Grade is used for vitaminized food products, e.g. margarine, vanaspati, ghee and other edible oil, etc.

3.Vitamin D3 500 Feed Grade CWS

Vitamin D3 500 CWS is fine, free flowing, white to yellowish granula, spray dried from vitamin D3 oil feed grade. It contains

vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in sunflower oil finely dispersed in a matrix of maltodextrin and sodium caseinate.

Main Specifications

Assay(VD3+pre-VD3): 500,000IU/G min. (HPLC method)

Appearance: white to yellowish granula

Particle size: 95% min. passing 80 mesh

Loss on drying: 5% max.

Usage

Vitamin D3 500 is used in all kinds of vitamin blends and premixes.
